Welcoming New Members
The Ballarat Choral Society warmly welcomes new singers. Whether you are an experienced chorister or returning to singing after some time away, we invite you to join our friendly, supportive choir united by a love of music. There are no audition requirements, and singers of all voice types are encouraged to join.
Rehearsals
BCS rehearses at BPAC, Ballarat Performing Arts Centre, corner of Neil Street and Macarthur Street, Soldiers Hill, on Wednesdays from 7.15 pm to 9.30 pm. You are welcome to attend a couple of rehearsals before deciding whether to join.
Annual Membership
There is a one-off $10 joining fee. To help cover the Society’s costs, including hall hire, music hire, our rehearsal pianist and our choral director, members pay an annual subscription of $250. This may be paid in one or two instalments.
